This narcotic test is used for the presumptive substance identification of Cannabis products such as Marijuana, Hashish, Hash-oil,THC and residues of THC.

Cannabis / Marijuana Test Kit

APPLICATION:

Used as a presumptive test to detect the presence of Cannabis Products. The test has a sensitivity LDL (Lower Detection Level) <0,2 mg depending on the purity of the sample. Take an ampoule and note whether the crystals are still bright, in case they are dark coloured, such ampoules cannot be used.(Each ampoule can be used only ones)

How to use the test

Knock the unopened ampoule several times against a hard surface-for example, the top of the table, for a few seconds. In this way, particles which may be sticking to the inside of the ampoule wall will fall downwards. Remove the sealing cap and open the ampoules as follows: Open the ampoule as follows: Take the lower part of the ampoule in the left hand, and take the top (upper part) between index finger and thumb and snap off at the fracture line by applying pressure to the side.

There are two ways to finish the test:

• Transfer a little of the sample under examination into the plastic cap and put this cap on top of the opened ampoule and turn the ampoule upside-down so the material and the catalyst powder will fall down .
• Keep the ampoule in the upright position so that the substance is deposit on the bottom of the ampoule. And transfer the suspected material into the ampoule. Allow the suspected material, powder (in the cap) and the reagents/granulate to mix. This can be achieved by tapping the ampoule with the finger or with a light shake. In case of the presence of Cannabis products the crystals will turn into bright grey to a bright red colour. In all cases the colour change is fully developed within l- 2 minutes. A further elapse of time produces only a slight colour change depending of the colour. The test should be evaluated after 1-2 minutes have elapsed.

NOTE: For both methods it is recommended that a clean spatula is used.

SPECIFICITY: Henna and black teas also produce a red change of colour. In addition, certain spices produce other distinguishable colours. For example Muscat nut produces a violet colour, Ginger produces an Orange colour and olives a bright orange colour.

STORAGE: How to store the ampoules: The ampoules should be protected from light and temperatures over 35 ºC. (95F)

SAFETY: Keep the ampoules out of the reach of children .In case the reagent (Crystals) come in contact with the eyes, skin or clothes (The effected areas have to be rinsed with water) No liability can be accepted by the supplier, when the tests have been inappropriately used.

DISPOSAL: After use the ampoules we recommend to dispose the test ampoules into the bottle bank . Or in accordance with the waste Disposal regulations current in the country use.
