The compact and lightweight ISC 201404024 D2 Escape Descender is a panic brake style device that requires a force input to continue the braking function, making it a superb solution for lightweight and compact pulley systems. This true panic stop device is designed to actually stop the descent rather than just slowing it down. The only condition is that no other force should be applied on the device, once the panic brake is activated. The auto-lock function activates if the user let go or pull too hard.
