The Spyderco Assist Rescue Knife is made for the fire/rescue professionals, the Assist features a carbide glass breaker, sure grip FRN handle, VG-10 high-carbon blade steel, survival whistle built into the handle and wire clip. Blade and handle shape are designed to allow controlled rope cutting without an exposed cutting edge. Place the rope between the partially closed blade and the handle then squeeze the blade shut.
