Stylus Flashlight White/Blue

Stylus Flashlight White/Blue. Don’t let the slim size of these two Streamlight® Stylus 3 flashlights fool you. They are quite powerful little tools to have in your crime scene kit. They are only 6 ½ inches long and are lightweight at 1.1 ounces. It comes complete with the required AAAA batteries. Each Streamlight® Stylus 3 contains a 100,000 hour solid-state LED bulb. They are waterproof and the light is visible from a mile away. You can depress the switch for a moment or can lock it on for continuous light.

Use the Streamlight® Stylus 3 with the white light as an oblique light source to direct over a surface where you are looking for latent prints. Black powder will appear dull and dark against a shiny background. Since most crime scenes are not well-lit, this is a handy tool.

We found that the Streamlight® Stylus 3 with the blue light works very well with our fluorescent powders. You can hold this light and dust with Redwop™ or Black Emerald™ or any of our other fluorescent powders without having to use a larger, more expensive Forensic Light Source.

Having both lights in your crime scene kit would be handy. You will be able to tell the difference between the white light and the blue light, because the blue light has a black exterior and the white light has a silver exterior.
