Law Enforcement officers have long had to make a choice between the crisp look of molded nylon or the superior abrasion resistance of Cordura® nylon. However, regular molded nylon is easily damaged by abrasion and Cordura nylon alone can be crushed and lose its shape in the field. An all new Level 3 SERPA™ Duty Holster, internally named the SERPA Auto Lock Level 3-F™, is scheduled for release in mid-2006 and is being tested as the fastest Level 3 retention holster in the world by Todd Jarrett, 3-time World Pistol Champion. Studies have demonstrated that neuro-muscular injuries can result when the weight of the officer’s carried gear is forced into the hip structure by the hard edge of a conventional duty belt. While the BlackHawk Duty Gear belt maintains a traditional 2¼” height, its core platform is only 1⅞” high.
