The Nasco Life/Form Child Nursing Med-Sur System is a basic child CRiSis Manikin with Advanced Airway Management technology and devices added to it. The kit offers a realistic training and practice of child airway management and educates about CPR. The full body manikin is 46-3/4 in. long and weighs 20lbs. It comes with the SimVS Hospital Monitor that allows realistic simulation in different settings such as hospital, pre-hospital, and respiratory therapy. The SimVS Essentials Virtual Assessment System provides the ability to train with standardized patient manikin or simulator using the monitor stand that features an auto BP cuff, a separate glucometer, a thermometer and a Pulse Ox.

This supports CNA, medical programs, home health-aid, and nursing along with allied health training needs. The system and its components can be connected with more advanced SimVS systems seamlessly. The Heartisense app is designed for realistic CPR training. It helps in making accurate and effective training assessments of students. The student applications run on Android and iPhone platforms while the instructor’s SimVS app runs on the control tablet.

SimVS Essentials Virtual Assessment System (101102200):

• Provides the ability to train with a standardized patient, manikin, or simulator using a monitor stand that includes a display, auto BP cuff, pulse ox, and thermometer, along with a separate glucometer
• Tablet control device used by the instructor can link 1 or more sets of equipment and control each set as a group, allowing the instructor to manage several patient profiles in real time
• When student activates the related portion of the display for a device, the display will show the relevant information that the instructor has set for the patient (e.g. touching temperature on the display will display the patients temperature)
• Instructors tablet is then updated, with the students actions showing as feedback
• Training system can support home health aide, CNA, nursing, and medical programs, as well as allied health training needs
• System and its components can also be integrated with other, more advanced, SimVS systems seamlessly
• Provides the ability to build out what parts of the simulation you need, when you need it, using a common system
