Kong Ovalone Carbon Rise Lock Automatic Locking Carabiner

The Kong Ovalone Carbon Rise Lock is a carbon steel carabiner with a wide opening and the RISE Lock automatic sleeve. The patented RISE Right Sequence system provides two movement opening and closure while reducing the risk of accidental opening. Opening requires the sleeve to be rotated followed by the gate being opened in the correct sequence. If the gate is pressed first, the sleeve does not rotate and the carabiner remains locked. This mechanism is designed to prevent accidental opening caused by rope entanglement or the gate pressing against an edge. The carabiner also features a Keylock system and is tested piece by piece.

It has a Lunar White Zinc Nickel finish, offering double the corrosion resistance of normal black galvanizing, longer life and reduced friction on ropes and textile devices. It is developed and manufactured in Italy and complies with EN 362 M. The carabiner has a main axis load of 40 kN, minor axis load of 15 kN, weight of 220 g, length of 110 mm and width of 62.6 mm.
