Kong X Large Carbon Rise Lock Steel Carabiner

The Kong X-Large Carbon Rise Lock is a carbon steel carabiner featuring a wide opening and the RISE Lock automatic sleeve. Its patented RISE (RIght SEquence) locking system uses a two-movement opening and closing mechanism designed to reduce the risk of accidental opening. To open the carabiner, the sleeve must first be rotated before the gate is opened. Pressing the gate first prevents the sleeve from rotating, keeping the carabiner locked. This mechanism helps prevent accidental opening caused by rope entanglement or the gate pressing against an edge.

It also features a Keylock system and a new LUNAR WHITE finish with Zinc-Nickel treatment. Compared with normal black galvanising, this treatment offers double the corrosion resistance, longer life and reduced friction on ropes and textile devices. The carabiner is entirely developed and manufactured in Italy, with each piece tested individually. Made from carbon steel, it complies with EN 362 M and has a main axis load of 50 kN and a weight of 260 g.
