The Snugpak Ionosphere IX Tent is a compact, low-profile 1-person shelter designed for minimalist adventures where space, weight, and durability matter most. Its two-pole hoop design makes for quick and easy pitching, while the 50D No-See-Um mesh inner tent keeps out insects and can be used alone as a bug shelter in warm weather. With a PU-coated flysheet rated at 5000mm hydrostatic head and fully taped seams, this tent is built to handle all but the harshest conditions-making it a trusted choice for military, mountain leaders, and serious trekkers.

It offers a surprisingly generous floor space of 240cm x 90cm, with enough room for one person and gear, or two in emergencies. It packs down into a storage compression bag, weighs just 1200g, and includes 16 alloy Y stakes, 10 interior mesh pockets, and a front entry porch.
