The Avon BA3A PASGT Cut Ballistic Helmet is a classic and lightweight helmet designed for use by security or military personnel. It is manufactured from advanced thermoplastic and various robust composites that provide protection from standard ballistic rounds, such as a 9mm FMJ/44mag at 1400-1450 ft./sec. Featuring a PASGT-Cut design, the helmet has a brim-style helmet shell.

It features extra wide eye-port, along with flared sides, allowing it to be compatible with industry-standard accessories such as gas masks, face shields, communication devices, and NV goggles. The helmet features a universal fit and provides optimal comfort due to its suspension system, which is available in both standard and comfort fit. Also, its dial retention system keeps the helmet in place during movements.
