Kong HMS Classic Rise Lock Pear Shape Aluminium Connector

The Kong HMS Classic Rise Lock Light Alloy Pear Shape Connector is an aluminium connector featuring the RISE Lock sleeve and a classic wide base HMS pear shape. It is designed for belaying with a clove hitch or Italian hitch and can be used with belay and anchoring systems at belay stations or when connected to a harness. The patented RISE automatic sleeve uses a two-movement opening sequence, requiring the sleeve to rotate before the gate can open. This sequence is designed to reduce the risk of accidental opening.

It also features a Keylock system designed to prevent rope or bolt snagging. Developed and manufactured in Italy, the connector conforms to EN 362/B, UIAA and EN 12275/H standards. It is made from aluminium alloy and has a 22 kN main axis load and 8 kN minor axis load. The connector weighs 95 g and measures 116 mm in length and 78 mm in width, with a 12 mm body diameter and 23 mm gate opening diameter.
