The Kong X-Large Alu Rise Lock Automatic Sleeve Carabiner is an aluminium connector featuring a wide gate opening and Kong's patented RISE Lock automatic locking system. Designed to provide convenient two-movement operation, the system requires the sleeve to rotate before the gate can open. This specific sequence helps reduce the risk of accidental opening if the gate is pressed first, including situations involving rope entanglement or contact with an edge. The locking mechanism is designed to keep the carabiner locked unless the correct opening sequence is followed.

It also features a Keylock system to help prevent snagging during use. Developed and manufactured in Italy, each carabiner is individually tested to support consistent quality control.
