The Maxon MDS-3400 10W UHF Ceiling Mount Speakers are receive only wireless speakers designed for public address announcements using compatible DMR digital or analog portable and mobile radios. They support UHF frequencies from 400 to 470 MHz. The system allows users to broadcast to an individual speaker, selected groups or all connected speakers at once. It supports emergency alerts, channel scanning and repeater operation, with DMR, analog or mixed mode programming available through CPS software and a Bluetooth PC dongle. The system can also be used with an unlimited number of compatible speakers and portable radios.

This Loudspeakers offer multiple installation options. A backup battery is included for power outages or portability, with the listed specifications stating up to 12 hours of backup. Users can control volume through the programming dongle or compatible MDP Series portable radios. Digital speakers support individual, group and all call broadcasts, while analog setups use CTCSS or DCS codes to access specific speakers. Basic mounting brackets are included, but the Bluetooth dongle and programming software are sold separately.
