The Maxon MDS-1400 DMR Digital Analog Radio Loudspeakers are wireless, programmable, receive only speakers designed for remote broadcasting and announcements using compatible UHF portable or mobile radios. Supporting analog and DMR Digital Tier 2 TDMA radios operating in the 400 to 470 MHz band, the system allows users to broadcast audio to a single speaker, selected speakers or all speakers within a building or designated area. Each system includes a speaker, a Bluetooth USB programming module for a PC, a power supply that converts AC voltage to 12 VDC, and a nine hour backup battery for emergencies or portability.

This Loudspeakers are available in multiple configurations for different installation needs. In DMR digital mode, each speaker has a unique ID for individual, group or all call broadcasting and volume control. Analog configurations use CTCSS or DCS codes with the programmed radio frequency. The plug and play design eliminates the need to run wiring through walls, making the system suitable for schools, factories, terminals, shopping centres, warehouses and other large facilities.
