The Maxon MDS-2100 20W VHF DMR Digital Analog Radio Loudspeakers are wireless, programmable, receive only speakers designed for remote broadcasting and announcements using compatible portable or mobile radios. Supporting analog and DMR Digital Tier 2 TDMA radios operating between 400 and 470 MHz, the system allows audio to be transmitted to one speaker, selected speakers or all speakers within a building or designated area. Each system includes a speaker, a Bluetooth USB programming module for a PC, a plug in power supply that converts AC voltage to 12VDC and a nine hour backup battery for emergencies or portable use.

This Loudspeakers are available in configurations to suit different installation requirements. In digital mode, each speaker has a unique ID for individual, group or all call broadcasting and volume control. Analog setups use CTCSS or DCS codes with the radio frequency. The plug and play design avoids running wires through walls, making the system suitable for schools, factories, terminals, shopping centres, warehouses and other large facilities.
