The Maxon MDS-2400 20W UHF DMR Digital Analog Radio Loudspeakers are wireless, programmable, receive only speakers designed for remote broadcasting and announcements using compatible analog or DMR Digital Tier 2 TDMA portable and mobile radios. Operating in the UHF band from 400 to 470 MHz, the system allows users to transmit audio to one speaker, selected speakers or all speakers within a building or designated area. Each system includes a speaker, a Bluetooth USB programming module for a PC, a plug in power supply that converts AC voltage to 12VDC and a nine hour backup battery for emergencies or portable use.

This Loudspeakers offer flexible installation options for different environments. In DMR digital mode, each speaker has a unique ID that supports individual, group or all call broadcasting and volume control. Analog setups use CTCSS or DCS codes alongside the radio frequency to distinguish speakers. The plug and play design avoids running wires through walls, making the system suitable for schools, factories, terminals, warehouses and other facilities.
