NAR Responder Level IIIA Ballistic PPE Vest System

The NAR Responder Ballistic PPE Vest System is designed for Fire and EMS personnel for daily wear as well as RTF applications. The lightweight system provides NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA ballistic protection with additional special threat testing, including fragmentation. Its rapidly adjustable design accommodates different sizes and allows a full range of motion while providing increased ballistic coverage. Fitted external plate pockets are designed for greater comfort than internal pockets, while rapidly adjustable shoulder straps support fit. The vest has a maximum waist size of 62 inches and is made without polyfluoroalkyl substances, making it PFAS free.

It includes a Chest Pouch Medical Kit containing trauma equipment for point-of-wounding care, including four C A T tourniquet, wound packing gauze, nasopharyngeal airways, a HyFin Vent Twin Pack, responder gloves and trauma shears. The system measures 15 by 18 by 0.5 inches and weighs 9.1 pounds. Optional accessories include an armored abdomen extender and smaller armored cummerbund. The vest and armor components are free of PFAS and the ballistic system is NIJ 0101.06 certified.
