Arachnipod Advantage or EDGE Multipod System

Designed to meet CE EN 795B standard for tripod and quadpod, the Arachnipod Advantage Edge Management System offers unparalleled versatility and works much more than just a tripod. Based on the concept of an industrial concept, it allows the components to be added or removed as per the requirement in order to complement existing structural or natural features. The unique patent-pending modular head design allows the APOD to be constructed into many diverse configurations such as a ginpole/monopole, bipod, tripod, quadpod, A-frame, bridge system and handrail recovery monopole. When working with heavier loads, innumerable additional legs can be fitted to increase the safe working load (SWL). It can be a fantastic solution for workers in industries such as rescue and emergency services, construction, military, utility services, mining, film and maintenance. In its most basic form, the Arachnipod is a simple tripod featuring three legs independently pivoting from an anodized aluminium head.

The Arachnipod Advantage is a basic tripod system packaged with a pulley head, plus one swiveling rigging point. A Quadpod system can be created by adding the appropriate Quadpod Add-On Kit to the base system.

The Arachnipod Advantage EDGE is configured to allow the unit to be set up as a “flat-front” edge Tripod.
