The United Shield Sprint IIIA Ballistic Helmet is a special operation combat helmet made from para aramid material. It is a lightweight helmet and allows for comfortable movement of head. This robust helmet provides great protection from fragmentation projectiles, ballistics, and other low energy threats. It also uses a pad liner system that offers great stability and comfort to the wearer.

The United Shield Sprint IIIA Ballistic Helmet meets the full NIJ Level IIIA for ballistic protection and the STANAG 2920 Nato anti fragmentation standard. It comes with factory fitted Picatinny side rails, which provide a solid platform for accessory attachments. It also has an integrated universal night vision goggle mount. A four point multi adjustment harness (that can be removed for cleaning purposes) with suede cross straps and a neck pad is anchored to the shell with ballistic resistant bolts.

Specifications:

• Ballistic Protection : United Shield offers a broad range of helmet constructions to suit threat, weight and performance criteria. The SPRINT helmet is available to meet NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA.
• Fragmentation Protection : Protection against fragments from V50 450 m/sec – V50 700 m/sec according to STANAG 2920 (17 gr FSP) and US MIL STD 662F.
• Colors : Black, Tan, Olive Drab

Optional Face Shield SOD-RFS-Rail:

The SOD-RFS-Rail rio face shield with rail adapters is used to provided riot protection from impact splash and fragments. It is designed to fit all United shield International helmets with picatinny rails.

• Locks into the stowed or deployed positions and can be release with one hand
• Tested to the NIJ 0104.02 Riot Standard
• Offers protection against fluids, impact, incendiary projectiles and riot conditions
